The Château des Demoiselles vineyard implements daily actions and constantly improves its relationship with biodiversity.
Several years ago, we decided to start weeding the soil between our vines by hand. In autumn, grasses are sown between the rows of vines, forming a natural protective cover.
Château des Demoiselles was certified High Environmental Value Level 3 (the highest level) in 2019 – a distinction awarded in recognition of our increasingly eco-friendly plant health strategy.
Waste management encompasses all our activities. With regards to production, we set up special containers for cardboard, glass and plastics several years ago. The various items are then collected by our local recycling centre.
Château des Demoiselles is constantly seeking to reduce its environmental impact. With this in mind, our various projects (product development, wines, packaging) are all designed to maximize sustainability and responsibility.
